At the request of the Administration, officers have prepared a review of PLF entitled 'Narrowing the Gap' which is now available in draft form.  However, at this time no decisions have been made or conclusions drawn.

Fair Processing Notices for schools

Fair Processing is the term used to refer to all pupil information/ records regardless of which format they are held,ie. Paper, SIMS/Serco Facility.

This notice must be sent out to all parents at the beginning of the Autumn Term 2007

Updated guidance from the DCSF concerning Fair Processing of Pupil data is attached . This year they have broken the guidance down as follows:

FPN Document One- one page notice for schools to send to all parents.

FPN Document Two- Information about organisations who have access to information and the uses they make of it.

FPN Document Three- the full Fair Processing Notice.

FPN Document Two and Three do not need to go to parents but should be available in school on request.
